Academic Applications, as part of HITS, manages and supports applications needed by Michigan Medicine Research and the medical education communities. Examples include LabVantage, Freezerworks, GraphPad Prism, ExamSoft, CollegeNet, SurveyMonkey Apply, and many others. 

In addition to supporting a wide variety of research and medical education applications, we also provide the following services:

• Consult with faculty/researchers on what research or medical education application to use
• Represent user's needs by working on projects to deliver new services or to obtain funding for new applications
• Application Portfolio Management (purchase to retirement)
• Act as the Application Technical Owner for applications that go through Michigan Medicine Investment Assurance Request (MMIAR)
