ServiceNow - Retract a Knowledge Article Sent for Approval


Introduction

Knowledge Article Publication Lifecycle Workflow with "Retract" highlighted.

This knowledge article will demonstrate how to retract an article after it has been submitted for Approval, if additional edits are needed.

Instructions

 

  1. If an article needs further edits after it has been submitted for Approval, but before it has been Published, click on the Recall button within the article form.

  2. The article will return to the Draft stage of the Workflow.
