ServiceNow - Retire a Knowledge Article

Knowledge Article Publication Lifecycle

This knowledge article will provide instructions on how to retire a knowledge article in ServiceNow.

Instructions

  1. Open the knowledge article record, then click Retire. This will send an approval request to the Ownership Group.

  2. The Workflow will show the article's status as Pending retirement.

  3. Once approved for retirement, the Workflow will show the article's status as Retired.
