Before beginning enrollment, please verify the following on the Kiosk device:

• The green light is illuminated on the reader.
• No one else is currently logged in to the device.

Step 1(a):  If you are a new employee or have not logged in to a Kiosk in over 90 days*, log in WITHOUT your badge for the first day.

Your badge will not work until you have been moved into the correct group in Imprivata, which can take up to 24 hours.

Step 1(b): If you are not a new employee, tap your MCard ID badge on the reader.

You will hear a beep once the badge is read.

Step 2: When you receive a message to enroll a new proximity card, click OK.

Another window will pop up (similar to the authentication window) for the enrollment of your badge.

Step 3: Click on username and enter your uniqname and UMICH password.

Click Done.

• You will need to enter your password one more time. This will start the 4-hour timer for the first time logon during your shift.

*Due to licensing constraints, users who do not log in to a Kiosk in over 90 days are moved back to the unlicensed group to save on licenses.  In this scenario, a user may repeat the steps in this article to re-enroll.
