Overview
The Linux for Research Platform is a new HITS option to better meet your research computing needs. It provides essential software on a secure Linux operating system to conduct your work outside of a data center. It also features dedicated HITS technical support to troubleshoot issues, provide support and updates, and safeguard your research activities.
The Linux for Research Platform aims to provide a consistent experience among the workstation, data center, and cloud environments. HITS will work to provide as much autonomy and functionality as it can while still staying secure, scalable, and supportable.
