Updating on iOS (iPhone and iPad)
Instructions
Note: If you were issued a new or reimaged CoreImage laptop, be sure to log on before leaving onsite so your credentials are updated on that device and you can log on at home or offsite.
CoreImage Kiosk workstation -- Within the Michigan Medicine Network (MFleet)
- Open the start menu and click the red X for workstation cleanup to log out of the computer.
- Sign back into the computer with your Michigan Medicine credentials.
CoreImage Windows -- Within the Michigan Medicine Network (MFleet or UMHS-8021X)
- Lock the workstation by pressing the Windows key and the L key together on your keyboard.
- Login using your new password. If you completed your password sync to a UMICH common password, login with your UMICH password.
- Your device should now be synced with the new password and can be used off-site.
- Restart your CoreImage computer.
CoreImage Windows -- Outside the Michigan Medicine Network (MWireless-UMHS, MGuest-UMHS, or working remotely)
Note: If you are not already logged into your CoreImage Windows device, you will need to login with your old password. If you are unable to login with your old password, you will need to login to your CoreImage Windows device at a Michigan Medicine location.
- Connect to the Michigan Medicine VPN using Cisco Secure Client.
- Test the connection by visiting a site behind the Michigan Medicine firewall, such as https://www.med.umich.edu/i.
- If the VPN connection is valid, lock the workstation by pressing the Windows key and the L key together on your keyboard.
- Alternatively, go to Start Menu > click the Block M > click Lock.
- Login using your new password. If you completed your password sync to a UMICH common password, login with your UMICH password.
- Your device should now be synced with the new password and can be used off-site.
- Restart your CoreImage computer.

Updating on iOS (iPhone and iPad)
The Outlook/Intune Company Portal should automatically prompt for your new password. If not, sign out of your account in the Intune Company Portal power down the device, and turn it back on. Then sign back in back in with your new password.
The Mobile Device Management system will sync your password when the device checks in to the system.
