Introduction
HITS requires that Trusted Service Providers (TSP) annually test their applications on the Windows 11 WaaS feature update version (e.g., 25H2) specified by HITS so that Michigan Medicine can update its fleet of CoreImage devices to remain in compliance and supported by Microsoft, its device hardware vendors, and other independent software vendors.
Instructions
Workflow for Trusted Service Providers (TSP)
- At the start of each new round of application compatibility testing, new Test Plans will be created within ServiceNow, which contain the Test Cases and Tests to be conducted.
- The Test Cases will be assigned to the Tester (who may be the TSP or a delegated staff member).

- Testers will receive an email from ServiceNow for each Test Case they have been assigned.
- Test Cases will also be visible in the My Assessments and Surveys section of the Service Portal.
- Navigate to the Service Portal
- Click Log in with Uniqname
- Click Information Technology
- Review your Test Cases under the My Assessments and Surveys section
- Navigate to the Service Portal
- Review the due dates located next to each Test Case under the My Assessments and Surveys section
- Click on a Test Case to begin
- Click Get Started
- The title of each Test Case will appear in the blue header. Each individual test will be listed below as a question.
- For each question, conduct your testing, then click the appropriate radio button: Failed or Passed
Note: Do not click the Blocked radio button, as this option is invalid.

- Once a radio button has been selected for a question, an Actual Results dialogue box will appear.
- Type your results in this box in order to advance the survey.

- After the last Test within your Test Case, there will be an additional question about the Overall Test Case Status.
- Please evaluate the Test Case as a whole and select Failed or Passed.

- Click the Next button at the lower right of the window to continue to the next Test Case.
- Answers will be saved if you choose to leave the survey before it is complete.
- Return to the My Assessments and Surveys section to resume your survey.

- When you reach the end of the Test Case, click Submit.
- You can edit your answers before the due date by returning to the My Assessments and Surveys section.
- Click the Test Case you need to edit
- Click Get Started
- Your previous answers will be populated, and you can make adjustments prior to submitting again.
