This document will show you how to update your local login password on a Core Image Mac after a password change.

Change your Michigan Medicine Password

Update the local (keychain) login on your core image MacOS device:

Connected to MFleet, the Cisco Secure Client VPN, or the wired Ethernet network

Not Connected to the Michigan Medicine network or Cisco Secure Client VPN

1. After your password has been changed, click on the Key icon in the top Menu Bar

2. Click Sign Out

3. Click the Key icon, then select Sign In

4. Enter your uniqname and new password, then click Sign In

5. You will be prompted to sync your new password:

In the Active Directory Password field, enter your new password

In the Mac Password field, enter your previous password

Then click Sync Password

6. Click OK

Not Connected to the Michigan Medicine Network or Cisco Secure Client VPN

If you are not connected to the Michigan Medicine network, and are unable to connect to the Cisco Secure Client VPN:
1. Click on the Apple icon on the top Menu Bar, then select Log Out

2. Proceed with the Login After Password Change instructions from the Azure Login Window as shown in KB0022598
