Introduction

The Dashboard provides summary information about your department's forecasted plan and the current makeup of your department's faculty. It will be expanded over time to include future forecast data and trending.

Instructions

Position Summary

The Current Headcount (current FY) and Average Compensation (prior FY) per faculty member, for each track and rank in your department. The compensation is FTE-adjusted by main appointment, and includes all compensation for the main appointment and any non-appointment compensation; it excludes secondary appointment compensation, as well as faculty with $0 compensation or 0 FTE appointments.

Note: faculty who receive a promotion at the start of the fiscal year will be reflected in the track/rank list and headcount, but their compensation will be $0, since the average compensation reflects the prior completed fiscal year (where they had a different track/rank).

 

Plan Summary

An overview of your department's forecasted plans (the number of planned new hires, departures, etc.) across the next three fiscal years. This is the total number of planned changes, which may differ from the total number of faculty in the department.
