SAS (originally Statistical Analysis System) is statistics software for application development and data access, management, analysis, and presentation. SAS has a variety of routines that make it a powerful and flexible tool not only for statistical analysis, but also for data management, graphical displays, and many other types of tasks.

SAS is available to purchase through the ITS Software Store. HITS/Michigan Medicine do not provide SAS Client or Server licenses. 

For the SAS client, all UM users need to go to the ITS Software Store in order to purchase a license.

If you have purchased your own SAS Client license and need it installed on your CoreImage Windows Device you can request to have it provisioned via the SAS Client catalog request form. Note: You must be able to prove you have a SAS Client license before it will be provisioned for your CoreImage Windows device.
