Overview
EndNote is an application used by researchers, scholarly writers, students, and librarians to work with bibliographies. EndNote integrates the following tasks into one program:
- Search online bibliographic databases
- Organize their references, images, PDFs, and other files in any language
- Create bibliographies and figure lists instantly

EndNote Use Policy
- Endnote is licensed for use only by University of Michigan Medical School (Michigan Medicine) faculty, staff, and graduate students. You must have an appointment in the Medical School to download the Endnote installer. EndNote must be installed Michigan Medicine owned and managed computers limited to these persons within Michigan Medicine.
- (a) End User may (i) install one copy of the Software on up to three computers for End User's personal use and (ii) make one copy of the Software solely for backup or archival purposes. It is expressly understood that the Software program will only be in use by End User on one computer at any given time.
Installation of Endnote software on Michigan Medicine Devices
- CoreImage Windows users can request Endnote be installed on your device using the Endnote request form.
- CoreMac users can self-install it on your device by using the Managed Software Center available on your CoreMac and installing the Endnote 21 - HITS license package.
