Hiring

• Messages (formerly Comments): the Candidate Site now contains the Messages feature, allowing candidates and departments/OFA to communicate with each other inside Meridian; the Messages area within the Hiring Detail page has also been updated with candidate features
• Watchlist (Email Notifications): this new feature sends an email to everyone on the Watchlist whenever a phase is transitioned, a message is added, or a candidate is cancelled
  
  • Being added to the Watchlist is automatic, but this can be toggled on/off in the new Meridian Preferences area (via the Gear icon at the top of every page)
  • Candidates also receive a notification if they are sent a Message
• New Sort functionality has been added to the Hiring List, allowing users to re-sort by Name, uniqname, CID, and more
• Candidate cards on the Hiring List can now be opened in a new tab/window using a button in the upper-right corner of each card
• Candidates will now receive an email notifying them that their background check was approved in Meridian
• Other bug fixes and performance improvements
