A Canvas quiz or assignment copied over to a new Canvas site, then deleted in the new Canvas site, then recopied over to the new one again.

Once you delete a Canvas quiz/assignment in a Canvas site, if you copy over the assignment again, Canvas recognizes the quiz/assignment as Deleted still, so it will not display the quiz/assignment as you would expect. 

There are two potential workarounds:

• It is recommended you export the Quiz as a QTI file and then import the QTI file in the new Canvas site rather than use the Copy function. 
• Alternatively, if you have access to a third Canvas site, you can copy the quiz/assignment from the old Canvas site to the 3rd one, then copy it from the 3rd one to the new Canvas site you wanted it at.
