Overview
Freezerworks is a configurable application developed by Dataworks Development, Inc. for managing freezer inventory, sample labeling, tracking, and sample management in laboratories and biorepositories. It meets GLP and FDA guidelines, including 21 CFR Part 11 requirements, making it suitable for university labs, clinics, biotech firms, and pharmaceutical companies. The software is written and validated in accordance with FDA guidelines for software development.
Web Client Availability
In Q1 2023, the HITS Freezerworks team introduced the Freezerworks Web Client to the UM Freezerworks Community. This functionality was enhanced in Q1 2025 with the release of version 14.01.02, offering improved accessibility and a more streamlined inventory management experience.
