Introduction
Knowledge articles are periodically updated to maintain their content. Each time an article is revised and re-published, it is assigned a new version number in ServiceNow. This article explains how to compare two versions of an article, contrasting the changes between each version.
Instructions
- In ServiceNow, open the Knowledge module by navigating to Knowledge > Articles > All.
- Find the Knowledge article to be reviewed and click the Number link to access the article with multiple versions.
- Scroll down to the related lists within the article and click the Article Versions tab. Click the checkbox for each of the versions to be compared.
- Select Compare in the dropdown box at the bottom of the section.
- The screen will now display the multiple versions of the article, with the differences highlighted.
