When you unenroll your mobile device from Intune, your Michigan Medicine email (uniqname@med.umich.edu), the apps installed via Company Portal, and Michigan Medicine's Wi-Fi profiles will be removed.

Option 1:  Remove your mobile device via the Company Portal app.

1. Open and sign in to the Company Portal app on the mobile device if prompted.
2. Select Devices along the bottom.
3. Select the mobile device you want to remove if presented with more than one option.
4. Tap the "..." under the mobile device's name.
5. Select Remove device from the menu.
6. Select OK to finish removing your mobile device.

Option 2:  Remove your mobile device via the Company Portal Self-Service website.

1. Go to Company Portal Self-Service.
2. Select Devices (if not defaulted there). 
3. Choose the mobile device you want to unenroll.
4. Choose Remove.

Option 3: Remove the management profile locally on your device.

For iOS:

1. Open Settings
2. Navigate to General > VPN & Device Management
3. Tap the Michigan Medicine management profile
4. Tap Remove Management

For Android:

1. Open Settings
2. Navigate to Passwords & Accounts
3. Under the Work tab, tap Remove Work Profile

Note: Android devices come from various manufacturers with different variations of Android. The steps outlined above are for a Google Pixel, however, the steps for other Android devices should be very similar with potential differences in the names of certain settings.

Notes:

• For iOS devices, any documents downloaded to the mobile device from Michigan Medicine's M365 environment, such as those from Outlook, will remain on the mobile device after unenrolling.  However, all access to Michigan Medicine M365 cloud resources will be removed.
• For Android devices, documents downloaded from Michigan Medicine's M365 environment are in the Android Enterprise (Work) container which is removed during unenrollment.  Personal documents are unaffected since they are not in the Android Enterprise container.
