WaaS Upgrade - Scenario B: Install Outside of Business Hours


Instructions

  1. Receive initial user notification of pending software changes
    1. Click on the message that says Software changes are required



  2. Confirm installation to install outside business hours
    1. Select Outside my business hours (default business hours are 5:00 AM - 10:00 PM)
    2. The Configure my business hours option is not currently available
    3. There is an option to check the box for Restart my computer automatically if needed
    4. Click OK


    5. The installation will begin once business hours have ended and if the device is powered on
      1. If you checked Restart my computer automatically if needed, the notification for restart countdown will appear, which can be snoozed up until the last 15 minutes of the countdown





  3. Receive notification for restart
    1. The notification informs you that you'll be signed out of Windows and your device will shut down
    2. Select Close



  4. Confirm that your upgrade was successful
