Office 365 - How to use the Microsoft Support and Recovery Assistant to troubleshoot issues

Introduction

The Microsoft Support and Recovery Assistant works by running tests to figure out what's wrong and offers the best solution for the identified problem. It can currently fix problems with Office applications such as Outlook and Teams. If the Microsoft Support and Recovery Assistant can't fix a problem for you, Microsoft will suggest next steps.  While the tool only runs on Windows, it does offer limited guidance and assistance for issues with Office for Mac and mobile platforms.

Instructions

The first, best self help for Office 365 issues is to use Microsoft's Support and Recovery Assistant, or SaRA.

Instructions on how to install and use SaRA are available from Microsoft.  Please sign into SaRA with your Michigan Medicine (Level 2) account for the most comprehensive experience.  It needs this information to troubleshoot any Outlook 365 / Exchange Online issues.
