Introduction
Cisco Finesse has multiple environments for different purposes, such as Production for real customer calls or QA for testing call flows. You may be asked to move to the QA environment if you attend Finesse training or if you take part in testing activities. Note: you should only perform this function if instructed by a trainer, a member of HITS, or your supervisor.
Instructions
- Sign out of any open instances of Cisco Jabber and/or Cisco Finesse.
- Click the Reset Jabber link within the Jabber application.
- (if working remotely) Disconnect any open VPN connections by clicking the Disconnect button in Cisco AnyConnect.
- Login to Cisco Jabber with the QA/Test ID provided by your trainer, HITS staff member, or your supervisor.
- Accept the E911 message.
- Find the unique Jabber extension number for your Test / QA ID. If you do not know how to find your extension, visit the Jabber - Finding your Jabber Phone Number knowledge article.
- Reconnect to the VPN, then log in to the Cisco Finesse QA environment. Logging in to QA follows the same steps as the Cisco Finesse - Logging In article, but uses this web link to access QA instead.
- Enter the new extension number collected in Step 6, then click the Sign In button.
- You will now be in the Cisco Finesse QA desktop, which will act the same as Production but without real customers / callers.
