Installing Haiku on Android

This document will walk you through the process of installing the Epic Haiku application from the Intune Company Portal on a personal Android phone that has already been enrolled to Intune.

If your device is not yet enrolled to Intune, please reference the enrollment document before proceeding with the installation instructions below.

Instructions

Installing Haiku

1. From the Work tab, open the Play Store

2. Tap on Epic Haiku

3. Tap Install

4. Once Haiku is installed, open the application

5. Tap Accept

6. Enter your Uniqname and Password, then tap Log In

Permissions Settings

1. Press and hold the Haiku application until the options menu appears, then tap the information icon in the top right corner of that menu

2. Tap Permissions

3. Tap Notifications

4. Configure the following:
Tap the Allow Notifications toggle to the On position

Under Alerts, select Allow sound and vibration

Under Notification Types set the Lock screen, Badge, and Pop-up options to Allowed

Set Lock Screen Notifications to Show Content

5. From the previous screen, tap Microphone

6. Select Allow only while using the app

Enable Wi-Fi Calling

1. Open Settings

2. Tap Connections

3. Tap the Wi-Fi Calling tab to the On position
