PrinterLogic - How to set a default printer


Introduction

 

How do I know if I have the PrinterLogic client?

You would know if you're unable to add a printer outlined in the instruction section of this article.

Instructions

Default printer

Upon receiving the PrinterLogic client a default printer was assigned.  In case a default printer is not assigned, or you want to change your default printer here is how to change the setting:

 

There are two ways to access the Client:

1. Start Menu

Open the Printer Installer folder to access the print management features.

Select Set Default Printer

 

2. System Tray  

Click on the system tray icon  to see the PrinterLogic Client

Right Click on the PrinterLogic icon to select Set Default Printer from the list.

 
 
HOW-TO CHECK FOR DEFAULT PRINTER: 
  1. Review listed printers in Select new default printer window.
  2. If there is a GREEN check mark next to a printer - that is your assigned default printer.
 
 
 

HOW-TO CHANGE DEFAULT PRINTER: 

  1.  From the Select new default printer window
  2. Select the printer that you want as a new default
  3. Click on Set Default Printer button and then
  4. The selected printer will have a GREEN check mark next to it - this is now your assigned default printer.
  5. Select the Close button
