Access Cornerstone
Cornerstone can be accessed 24/7 from any location and any modern web browser by:
- Visiting Cornerstone portal https://michmed.csod.com/samldefault.aspx
- Clicking the link from the One Michigan Medicine (learning @ MM > Staff Resources)
- Clicking the link from the Clinical Home Page (under Safety and Professionalism)
Login Process
You must have a Michigan Medicine (Level-2) account in order to access Cornerstone.
- On the Michigan Medicine branded Microsoft Login page, enter your User Principal Name (UPN): uniqname + @med.umich.edu (uniqname@med.umich.edu), then enter your UM Password.
- As of February 25, 2026, you will need to be enrolled in Okta. See link under Resources and Support for help with enrolling in Okta.
Note: Most Cornerstone users have a Michigan Medicine (med) email account, however, even those who do not will use their UPN (uniqname + @med.umich.edu) when accessing Cornerstone.
