Introduction
The January 2023 feature release of Meridian includes a variety of updates:
- Candidate's Legal Name is now shown as the primary name (Preferred Name shown if different) throughout Hiring (not just in Credentialing)
- Legal name now comes directly from HR (upon initial creation of the uniqname; it is no longer collected in the Candidate Info section). Any changes to the name must be made by the Shared Services group.
- Additional "requiredness" has been added to sections in Credentialing for Candidate, per MSS. These include:
- Clinical Assessments (need at least 3 entries)
- Education & Training
- Board Certifications (with Skip option if psychologist or optometrist)
- Work Experience (with Skip option if recently trained)
- Licensure
- Malpractice History
- Credentialing for Department's Staff Membership Category menu options have been updated to reflect the latest Bylaws
- Seats (PCN):
- All seats in your department are now visible at any time in the Hiring Dashboard's Seat Summary widget (instead of only within the seat selector in a Hiring workflow)
- Vacant seats now appear in the Roster (if toggled on via a Filter option)
- Faculty with no seat in the selected department can also be filtered out
- PCN Management (OFA only): existing PCNs for vacant seats can now be un-approved (and re-approved)
- Planning now indicates which closed iteration(s) a planned change is associated with
- Other behind-the-scenes improvements
