Introduction
Dropbox is now available for Linux for Research (LFR) on all new devices. It is available for devices already deployed out to users but you will need to either call the Service Desk or Submit a Ticket and ask for your ticket be assigned to Academic Devices.
Instructions
Before Beginning:
In U-M Dropbox, there is a limit of five connected computers (e.g., Mac, Windows, Linux) and five mobile devices (e.g., smartphones, tablets, iOS, Android). These limits cannot be exceeded. You can check how many devices you are currently signed into and remotely sign out of any unused devices by following these instruction provided by Dropbox. If this is not done prior to the activation of your Linux for Research (LFR) device the activation will fail with a generic error. |
