After GraphPad Prism is installed on your device you will need to activate (only for CoreMac) and register it to begin using the software. 

For CoreMac users you will still need to manually activate and then register software. See more details below.

For CoreImage Windows users you must run maintenance or sync your device and then you will not need to do the activation step as our package for these devices will do this step automatically. When you open the software you will only need to register with your first and last name and uniqname@med.umich.edu credentials. For more details skip to the Registration section below. 

Activate Prism (CoreMac users only)

If you are a CoreWindows user skip to the Registration Section

1. Open Graphpad Prism and select  "Serial Number (Machine Licenses)" as the activation method.
   • 
2. Enter the serial number you received when requesting the software through our catalog item
   • Serial Number will be emailed to you directly from the ServiceNow system after the request has been completed.

3. Continue to the CoreMac registration steps below

Register Prism on CoreMac

1. GraphPad Prism will open a window in your browser to begin registration
2. Enter your email address as uniqname@med.umich.edu
3. Enter the Institution as Michigan Medicine
4. Leave Computer as what it defaulted to (this should be your computers Device Name)
5. Click Submit and copy your Activation Code on the next screen
   • Alternatively you will also receive an email with the activation code to copy from
6. In Prism select "Enter Activation Code"
7. Enter your code and agree to the GraphPad license agreement

8. Click Start Using Prism

Register Prism on CoreWindows

These steps are the same for both Classic CoreImage and Intune CoreImage Windows devices.

Pre-Requisite, you MUST run Maintenance (Classic CoreImage) or Sync (Intune CoreImage) your devices. After the new package (10.4.1) installs, it will silently activate and will prompt you to register. 

1. Enter your First and Last Name
2. Enter your uniqname@med.umich.edu email address
3. Select OK
