Adobe - Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner


Question

What do I do when I experience an issue with Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop Application (CCDA)? For example, if CCDA does not launch, does not operate correctly, or it presents error codes while trying to use the application. What if the issue is not able to be remediated through normal means (e.g., uninstall and reinstall CCDA)?

Answer

Note: Your Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop Application (CCDA) installation must be in an unhealthy state to proceed.

  1. Open Start Menu

  2. Open the appropriate application depending on your device enrollment type
    1. For Classic-CoreImage devices, type Software Center
    2. For Intune-CoreImage devices, type Company Portal

  3. In the search bar, type Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner, then click the item in the list




  4. Click Install




  5. This will begin the process of running the Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner in the background

  6. The Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner will perform the following actions on your device:
    1. Fixes installation issues with Creative Cloud apps
    2. Removes corrupted installations or leftover files
    3. Helps when you can't update, uninstall, or reinstall Creative Cloud apps
    4. Resolves issues with Adobe server connections or sign-in problems

  7. Once complete, restart your device

  8. After a restart, open Software Center or Company Portal

  9. In the search bar, type Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop, then click the item in the list




  10. Click Install




  11. Open Adobe CCDA and verify the application functions correctly
