Introduction
The VPN Annual Certification Process is enabled by Data Certification tasks assigned to Technical Owners. The data certification process creates a task to verify the Virtual Private Network (VPN) records by a specified due date. This Support Process Map is designed to help answer and route Incidents entered by Technical Owners seeking assistance.
Instructions
Trusted IT Service Provider (TSP) is instructed to open an Incident when assistance is required.
The ticket will be routed based on the type of issue as follows:
- VPN Configuration Item (CI) linked is not correct: TSP identifies correct CI, incident assigned to Networking for update to VPN entry.
- Linked VPN Configuration Item has incorrect data fields: TSP updates incorrect fields and/or works with ServiceNow team to correct.
- Company linked to VPN entry is not correct: If the correct Company is in ServiceNow the Incident will be assigned to Networking for update to the VPN entry.
- If the correct Company is not in ServiceNow then the TSP submits a request to the ServiceNow team to add the correct company.
