Introduction
Schedulon by EMS is primarily used to book event and classroom spaces across Michigan Medicine. It is also used to book some conference rooms in specific areas. Some spaces are restricted even within Schedulon and will not appear unless you have the appropriate access (please see Non Standard Spaces below). There are also spaces that are private and not available through Schedulon. Note: You can also check Outlook if you are not able to find a specific room in Schedulon.

Instructions
Effective 8/1/2024 the Medical School is adding a 10-minute transition period into the schedule for certain rooms. This is built into the last ten minutes of each scheduled event. This transition time will not appear as a separate appointment from the classroom booking. For example, for an event with a listed time of 9:00-10:00 a.m., instruction starts at 9:00 a.m. and ends at 9:50 a.m. The following rooms follow this policy: Medical Science 1: 3330 Lecture Hall, 5330 Lecture Hall |
- Fall semester. August 1st - December 31st. Fall term extended to 12/31 in the 2nd week of July
- Winter semester. January 1st - April 30th. Winter term extended to 4/30 in the 1st week of December
- Spring/Summer semester. May 1st - July 31st. Spring/Summer term extended to 7/31 in the 2nd week of April
Note: Reservations are "auto-confirmed". There is no manual approval. A reservation summary is emailed on submit. There are no exceptions to allow for scheduling past the cut off dates. Exact date of release is dependent on curriculum scheduling and will be added to the above when available. |

Taubman Health Sciences Library
Taubman Health Sciences Library's classrooms, small group rooms, and study spaces on the 2nd, 5th and 6th levels are reserved for use by medical school undergraduate, graduate, post-doctoral students and staff directly supporting undergraduate and graduate learning. If students and staff meet this criteria, and would like access to reserve these spaces in THSL, please use the Schedulon Non-Standard Space Access Request form to request access . Please be sure to complete the last line labeled "Please list any non-standard templates required" to request access.
If a student or staff member was declined access, no access to this space will be provided. If a classroom space is required, Med Sci 2 rooms on levels 2, 3, and Buhl level 5 are available to be scheduled through Schedulon general access templates.

The following conference rooms/classrooms have been repurposed and taken offline due to departmental room needs, and are no longer available for scheduling. |
Cutoff date for scheduling is December 31st. Users are able to reserve the next calendar year September 16th. There are no exceptions to allow for scheduling past the cut off dates.
The space is automatically approved. If you do not see "Confirmed" as the status for the reservation, some dates you requested were unavailable and you do not have a reservation for those dates. Unavailable dates will have "Web Conflict" as the status. It is up to you to reschedule or cancel the booking that is unavailable.

University Hospital Event Space
Ford Amphitheater and Lobby closed for renovations January 1 2024 - January 2025. End date subject to change. Danto Auditorium - Only the Auditorium area is available for scheduling. The back classroom area is closed and unavailable for use. NOTE: Auditoriums are in high demand and are intended for use by large groups with at least 50% of the room capacity. Smaller groups should request conference rooms that can accommodate the size of their group. |

University Hospital Dining Rooms
PLEASE NOTE: There is no longer AV equipment in the UH Dining Room conference rooms. The rooms are available as in-person meeting space only and have no built-in audiovisual capabilities. The rooms are only available as combo rooms (AB or CD) from 6:00am-6:00pm Monday-Friday. If you are serving food, you must add at least 15 minutes before and after your set up time for set-up and breakdown. Only Aramark catering is allowed in the rooms, no outside food/vendors are permitted. The standard room configuration is a large square, 28-32 seats. |
