Michigan Medicine AHA Training Center will be using the HeartCode BLENDED learning format. This blended learning format includes an online self-directed, comprehensive eLearning program and in person Hands-on Testing Session.
To complete these requirements, learners will need to complete one of the following curricula in Cornerstone:
- CSCD-C10001 ACLS Provider Certification and Recertification
- CSCD-C10005 Pediatric Advanced Cardiac Support (PALS) Certification or Recertification
Please visit The Clinical Simulation Center to learn more about the ACLS and PALS Educational offerings
To add or remove the ACLS or PALS assignment from your Cornerstone Transcript you will need to update the "Select any of the certifications below that are required for your role or by your unit" question response on the User Profile Questionnaire. (checking the box for ACLS or PALS will add the assignment, leaving blank or removing the checkmark will remove the assignment).
Step by step Instructions for updating the User Profile Questionnaire can be found at Completing Your User Profile Questionnaire
For Providers and Advanced Practice Practitioners, If any of these certifications are required for your role please select the appropriate certification so you will receive the assignment, otherwise leave these unchecked.
