Schedulon is the Michigan Medicine implementation of EMS (Event Management System), a web-based application that allows for advanced reservation, booking, and event planning functionality.

Schedulon has two major components: the web app and a desktop application.

• Schedulon is used to book conference rooms and other centrally managed space across Michigan Medicine.
  
• The desktop application is only for superusers such as event managers and other approvers of space.

The Schedulon web client uses SAML authentication but requires an active Michigan Medicine (Level-2) account in order to access. The EMS Desktop application can only be installed on a Core Imaged Windows Workstation and logs in automatically using the current Windows login.
