Overview
Outlook is the HITS-supported application to access your Michigan Medicine email across all platforms. Microsoft Exchange is the email system; Microsoft Outlook is the email client.
CoreImage Windows PCs and Michigan Medicine managed Macs have Outlook preinstalled. Once your email is migrated to Exchange Online as part of Michigan Medicine's investment in Microsoft 365 you may use the Outlook app on your mobile device.
Users of personally-owned devices can choose to either use Outlook on the web (OWA) or Windows Virtual Desktop. Both can be accessed using a web browser.
Start your search for more information and troubleshooting with the following Microsoft documentation. Microsoft frequently refreshes it to reflect the changes in their rapidly evolving Microsoft 365 products and services.
- Microsoft provides extensive help and training on their website.
- Michigan Medicine provides hosted resources from Microsoft.
