New REDCap users should use the following link to complete a brief REDCap 100 Security Training course and submit their electronic REDCap Account Access Request to MICHR. This procedure replaces the previous process that used Adobe Connect and paper based forms.

In accordance with University of Michigan policy, UM students, staff, and faculty will provide authorization via an electronic signature when they submit their access request.
Users from external institutions will provide the name and email address of their 'Authorizing Sponsor' at the University of Michigan. When this External User submits their Account Access Request, the Authorizing Sponsor will receive an emailed link to a REDCap form. In this form, the Authorizing Sponsor can provide an electronic signature and submit the authorized request for MICHR Support to process.
