New REDCap users should use the following link to request access to the REDCap application. The REDCap Access Request process familiarizes REDCap users with basic expectations of the use of REDCap.

In accordance with University of Michigan policy, UM students, staff, and faculty will provide authorization an electronic signature when they submit their access request after agreeing to MICHR REDCap policies and expectations.
Users from external institutions will provide the name and email address of their 'Authorizing Sponsor' at the University of Michigan. When this External User submits their Account Access Request after providing an electronic signature and agreeing to MICHR REDCap policies and expectations, the Authorizing Sponsor will receive an emailed link to a REDCap form. In this form, the Authorizing Sponsor can provide an electronic signature and submit the authorized request for MICHR Support to process.
External Collaborators should obtain their requisite Michigan Medicine (Level 2) account from their 'Authorizing Sponsor' and applicable MM departmental Access Liaison prior to submitting a REDCap Access Request.
Additional training resources will be provided after REDCap access is granted in MICHR Support's new user 'Welcome' email.
