Maintenance does not run automatically on Flex mode workstations, but it is still required. As such, the below guidelines address when to run maintenance on a Flex mode workstation.

Maintenance requirements for users
Make sure to schedule a time each month to run maintenance and reboot your device.
You are also encouraged to do so prior to the following workflows:
- Long-running processes (lab/computational/data acquisition)
- Business trips/vacations
- Installation of new software/hardware
- Installation of new software/hardware by a vendor
- Multiple users working interactively with software/hardware
