Overview
ExamSoft is an assessment tool utilized to author, deliver, and score exams delivered to medical students and created by the Office of Medical Student Education (OMSE). The Evaluation & Assessment team in OMSE manage ExamSoft for faculty and students. ExamSoft also allows for the tracking of categories that are attached to questions, allowing for in-depth analysis and longitudinal tracking of student performance. It provides remote proctoring functionality and services to allow students flexible remote testing.
ExamSoft Admin Site: Web portal where creation and management of assessments, exam takers, and scoring occurs. Admins login from the bottom Admins/Faculty box.
ExamSoft Student Portal: Web portal where students go to download Examplify on their personal device and to see scores. Students log in from the Exam Taker box.
Examplify: Locally installed software application utilized by students to take the exams.
ExamID: An additional login feature using facial recognition for exam security.
ExamMonitor: Remote proctoring service provided by ExamSoft.

Scores
Scores are exported from ExamSoft and imported to our custom software, ARB, in order to display a holistic view of student performance.
Support for Day of Exams
If trying to start an exam/during an exam:
- Need an override for ExamID camera issue or continuation code needed email the Evaluation & Assessment team directly.
- All other issues while taking an exam, contact ExamSoft phone support (866) 429-8889, ext. 1.
- HITS Laptop issues can submit a HITS ticket. However, there is limited weekend support, so if you run into an issue with your HITS laptop, email the Evaluation & Assessment team directly, as well, for guidance.
