The Account Support Tool (AST) - Hospital Operator View is designed to provide Michigan Medicine (MM) Hospital Operator's access to MM Providers contact information in MM emergency situations.

How to Access the Account Support Tool (AST) Hospital Operators View

Using Google Chrome, navigate to https://idm.med.umich.edu/account2 and log in with your Michigan Medicine (Level-2) account password.

Search Hospital Providers

Use the Search Michigan Medicine Users section to search for providers by Last Name, Uniqname, or UMID.

Profile Overview
The Profile Overview section displays the following information:

• MCard photo
• Licensed Full Name displayed as Last Name, First Name (Preferred First Name)
• University Long Title(s) (listed to the right of your photo) - the name that describes the job(s) or position(s) a person has within the University of Michigan
• Michigan Medicine Email Address
• Hospital Pager

Emergency Contact Information
This section contains contact phone numbers associated with the user, as submitted and verified via the Michigan Medicine User Profile Page (UP).

If phone numbers have been set to private by the user via the MM User Profile Page, the numbers will be masked by asterisks and only become viewable by clicking on the eyeball icon.

Other Options icons to the right of the phone numbers denote additional options set by the user via the MM User Profile Page. See the Options Icons section in this document for more information.
