Legacy Medical Records (LMR) is a custom web application developed by HITS that allows for the generation of patient medical records (PMR) from Michigan Medicine. These documents include records from the legacy Electrical Medical Records (EMR) repository - Clinical Data Repository(CDR) that were created before Jun. 7, 2014. The Release of Information (ROI) team from Health Information Management (HIM) are the primary users of the application and print records at the request of former patients or for litigation purposes. LMR consolidates records from several data stores and joins them into a single PDF file.

LMR allows authenticated users to search patients by MRN, last, first name, sex and/or date of birth, filter patient records by record types, dates, care providers as well as document types, consolidates different records into a single PDF file for viewing and download.
