What do I do when I get a Microsoft Outlook Security Notice?

- In the Microsoft Outlook Security Notice dialog, click Show Signature Details.
- In the Digital Signature Details dialog, click View Certificate.
- In the Certificate dialog, click Details.
- Click Copy to File...
- In the Certificate Export Wizard, click Next.
- Select format DER encoded binary X.509 (.CER), then click Next.
- Click Browse...
- Navigate to the Desktop, type an appropriate name for the certificate file, then click Save.
- Click Next.
- Click Finish.
- Click OK.
- Open File Explorer, then right-click the exported certificate file.
- If you're using the modern context menu, select Compress to... > ZIP File.
- If you're using the classic context menu, select Send to > Compressed (zipped) folder.
- You should now see another file next to your certificate file that is a ZIP file.
- If you're using the modern context menu, select Compress to... > ZIP File.
- Submit a ticket to HITS Device Support so HITS can investigate and release a fix.
- Attach the exported certificate ZIP file
- Specify the full path of the file that triggered the warning (e.g., C:\Program Files...)
- Specify the computer's Device Name
- In the Microsoft Outlook Security Notice dialog:
- If you believe the add-in is safe, click Enable application add-in.
- If you aren't sure the add-in is safe, click Disable application add-in.
