Introduction
The August 2021 release contains the following feature enhancements to the Hiring and Promotion areas of Meridian:
Track and Rank intelligence in Hiring (Appointing) and Promotion:
- Expected document types and their targets (minimum number) are shown for all document uploads
- This simplifies the Appointing and Promotion workflows by removing the Ref Docs Approval steps, and allows the sending of solicitation emails when the appropriate number of required documents are uploaded
- This also allows for adding or changing solicitation documents, such as CV, up until the section has been sent to OFA for approval
Hiring and Promotion Enhancements:
- Department contact information is now required for sending academic reference letters
- Full status history is available for clinical assessments and academic references (via a toggle in the assessment/reference tables' Status column)
- References are ordered alphabetically by last name in packet PDF
- This required the reference name field to be split into separate parts (for First Name, Last Name, etc.)
- "Malformed" PDF error message is now more helpful, with a link to a knowledgebase article on how to fix them
- New "sticky" navigation bar on the Detail page
- Watchlist email is sent when an academic reference letter is approved/denied
Hiring Enhancements:
- Gaps again mention the '60 days or greater' requirement in Credentialing
- Candidate Degree was added to the Summary View headers
Promotion Enhancements:
- Legal name is now displayed (in addition to preferred name) on the Detail page, List page cards, List export, and reference page
- Track criteria PDF links are now individually offered per appointment
- Business rules for starting a new promotion have been slightly relaxed
NOTE: the Main Promotion details are now located in the main input form area of the Detail page, near the Additional Promotions list, instead of in the header.
