Introduction
The September 2021 release contains the following feature enhancements to Meridian:
- Academic Reference enhancements:
- A new "Preview & Send Email" button allows you to see what will be sent in the email to the reference person
- This feature has also been added to Clinical Assessments as well
- Email address is now shown in the table (instead of only within the Detail window) for easy institution tracking
- This feature has also been added to Clinical Assessments as well
- A declined letter (reference person says No) automatically gets the new "N/A" approval, eliminating the need for OFA to review declined references
- This will also be retroactively applied to all existing Declined records
- OFA now has edit ability for all reference details, in case quick-edits are necessary

- The "Instructional Track" label has been updated to "Tenure Track" across Meridian, to match the Medical School's terminology
- The rank options within Tenure Track have been revised/clarified
- Note that the new " - Secondary Appt" options are only to be used for a faculty's secondary appointment

- Various committee packet adjustments per Provost-requested changes
- Sticky header in the Promotion area now shows the main promotion's department and track/rank
- Internet Explorer (the IE browser) has been blocked due to performance and security concerns
