The November 2021 release contains the following feature enhancements to Meridian:

• Appointing & Promotion:
  
  • Targets and counts for Academic Reference letters (by track & rank)
  • Academic Reference table's Status column includes submission (Submitted [by Reference] or Submitted by Department)
  • Email notifications for Declined (Approval = N/A) letters are no longer sent (only Approved or Declined trigger a notification)
• Credentialing:
  
  • Candidate attestation now includes three new checkboxes and e-signature functionality (instead of the photo upload of the signed attestation page)
    
    • This is also required each time the candidate re-submits
  • Board Certifications section allows the candidate to indicate when they are not board-certified (and/or not board-eligible)
  • Text changes:
    
    • "Work Experience" section is now "Work Experience (and Gaps)"
    • "Insurance History" section is now "Malpractice Insurance History"
    • "Clinical Start Date" is now "Proposed Clinical Start Date" (with link to committee calendar)
    • Clinical Assessment site intro text was simplified
• Hiring and Promotion List pages now include filtering (and sorting) by department/division, including the ability to multi-select
• Department names across Meridian now use the 'long' form (e.g. "DCMB" is now "Computational Medicine and Bioinformatics")
• Other text updates in Hiring, including:
  
  • Link to Immigration Intake in Offer Response
  • Notes about packets needing PDFs of documents in early Hiring phases
