Introduction

Solstice wireless display by Mersive, is a device that allows a laptop to wirelessly display content to a room's TV display. 

Multiple screens from one or more laptops can be displayed simultaneously on a single TV display for collaboration purposes, and is a unique feature to Solstice-capable rooms.

Note: Only CoreImage or Managed computers with a connection to the UMHS domain (MFleet, or UMHS-8021x) can connect and utilize the solstice wireless display capabilities.

Instructions

 

  1.  Make sure the Solstice Wireless Display source is selected for display on the room's TV or Projector.



  2.  Follow the on-screen instructions for connecting to Solstice.
    1.  Type the IP address shown on the display into a browser, or the Solstice App on your computer

      Type IP address in the top field, or choose a recently used room from the list.
      Solstice app requires installation to use.


      Click the "Click Here" hyperlink to connect without installing the solstice application.



    2.  Once the Solstice IP is entered, a 4-digit key will become enlarged on the room's TV display. Enter this 4 digit key in the Solstice App on the computer.

      Enter the 4-digit key



      Enter the 4-digit key, and your name.




    3.  After the connection is established. The user can select which type of content can be displayed to the TV (desktop, specific application window, or individual files)

      Select the type of content you wish to share wirelessly on the Solstice display

  3.  Additional users can repeat these steps to display content simultaneously to the Solstice Wireless Display.

    Note: different user screens correspond with the different color user-icons at the bottom
