Instructions
Note: You will need an Apple ID setup on your device to install this application.
If you have not yet signed in with an Apple ID, please see this article prior to continuing.

The VPN client is available for use on corporately owned devices managed by Intune. The VPN client will not work on personally owned devices enrolled in Intune. |
Installing the Application
1. Open Company Portal, navigate to the Apps tab, then tap View all apps.
2. Tap on Cisco AnyConnect, then tap Install.
Note: to monitor progress of the install, Swipe Up to return to the Home Screen. The app's icon will display the install progress.
Configure the VPN
1. From the Home Screen, open AnyConnect, then press Allow to enable notifications.
2. Tap on No Connections.
3. Tap Add VPN Connection
- Enter MichMed in the Description
- Enter vpn.med.umich.edu as the Server Address
- Tap Save
4. Tap Allow.
5. Your VPN is now configured. Tap Back to return to the Main Menu.
Connecting
1. From the AnyConnect main menu, Tap the AnyConnect VPN On/Off toggle.
2. Enter your Michigan Medicine (Level-2) credentials, then tap Connect.
Note: you will receive a DUO prompt. Accept this prompt to connect.
You are now connected to the Michigan Medicine VPN.
Note: you can turn off the VPN at any time by tapping the On/Off toggle again.
