Windows 11 is Microsoft's newest major release of its operating system. It features a simple, yet modern interface designed for productivity and creativity.

HITS will be updating machines to Windows 11 version 22H2 from Feb - May 2024 which includes several feature updates, improvements, and enhancements.

• Many Windows users will see a notification requesting them to initiate an upgrade by a specific deadline.
• When users receive an upgrade notification, they can "Own Their Upgrade" by choosing to upgrade immediately or delay to a time prior to the deadline that works better for them.
• Some devices will not receive the notifications since they are not subject to the deadline (e.g., FLEX devices). However, all devices must eventually migrate to Windows 11.  HITS will work with the users of the delayed devices to coordinate times when they can be upgraded.

• Citrix Hosted applications will not reappear after being minimized
• A "Your Windows 10 Apps" group appears in the start menu
• The Widgets icon and Chat shortcut are present on the taskbar
