How do I get access to a HITS Telecommunications closet?

The Michigan Medicine Telecommunication Closet Access (HITS-90421) Annual training is a prerequisite for physical closet access for those with Level 2 credentials.  If you only have Level 1 access, please email HITS-TelecommAccess@med.umich.edu for further instruction.

How to request Access to a HITS Telecommunications closet training

Update the Cornerstone User Profile Questionnaire.  

Update the response for the question "In your role, do you require access to HITS Telecommunication Closets?" question to "Yes".  Additional instructions for updating the Cornerstone User Profile Questionnaire can be found at;  https://docs.google.com/document/d/1ccsNNrnSM5hV5qSKL74S5z0IAz-pRkk41CR3tmC-Yww/edit#heading=h.da1nfp6veriz

Once updated, an assignment will be pushed to your active transcript within 24 hours.  An email notification that training has been assigned will be sent from NoReply-MMCornerstone@med.umich.edu to the user. Once the training has been completed, users must email  HITS-TelecommAccess@med.umich.edu to complete the physical access request.  

NOTE: 

Level 2 access is required to access Cornerstone Learning. 

HITS Telecommunications Closet access requires completion of this training on a yearly basis.  Once completed, the training assignment will recur annually on your Cornerstone active transcript. Failure to complete the training assignment may result in an interruption to your access to HITS Telecommunication Closets.
