Issue
After an Intune-CoreImage device is upgraded to Windows 11, it may show the Widget icon and the Chat shortcut on the taskbar. These should not be present.
Environment
A CoreImage device upgraded from Windows 10 to 11
Cause
Intune policy has yet to apply to the device. The policy will eventually receive policy, or a user can force a sync.
Resolution
Wait for the Widget icon on the far left of the taskbar to disappear and then logout and log back into Windows to remove the Chat shortcut.
You can speed up processing policies by syncing with Intune.
