Intune-CoreImage - How to uninstall a packaged application using Company Portal


Introduction

Intune-CoreImage devices use Company Portal to both install and uninstall many packaged applications.  Those applications not in Company Portal still need to be requested.

The applications that are available in Company Portal will generally provide users with the option to manually uninstall them. This article will demonstrate that uninstallation process using Adobe CCDA as an example.

Instructions

 

Step 1: Launch the Company Portal from the start menu and locate the application that needs to be uninstalled.
Step 2: Select Uninstall.
Step 3: Select Uninstall again after receiving the confirmation prompt.
Step 4: Wait for the process to complete. The Company Portal will show that the application is uninstalling for the duration of the uninstallation process. That process may take a while, though it typically only takes a few minutes. If an error is received, please contact the HITS Service Desk.
Step 5: Confirm that the Company Portal now displays Uninstalled. Please note that the reinstall option will become available once the Company Portal is relaunched.
