Whether you are looking for online support and information, in-person assistance, or help over the phone with an urgent request, we've got you covered. 

What is the Michigan Medicine IT Help Center?  

 

The IT Help Center is HITS’ online support hub, enabling direct engagement between HITS and Michigan Medicine faculty, learners, and staff who have IT questions or need support.  

The IT Help Center is closely linked to HITS’ SharePoint site. On SharePoint you will find IT news, project information, guides, and a summary of services and offerings.

You can access the IT Help Center directly from the One Michigan Medicine SharePoint navigation menu, from MiChart, and from CoreImage PCs (Start Menu) and CoreMac computers (M icon), or using the URL: help.med.umich.edu/it.

Here in the IT Help Center you can find answers, submit requests, or chat for support. The Help Center also provides timely alerts about service interruptions and major incidents.

HITS Help Me Now 

For in-person support, visit one of our Help Me Now locations. We offer troubleshooting and consultation services on a range of issues, including device setup, password management, two-factor authentication, software installations, and ticket assistance. 

HITS Paging Office 

In-person pager support is available at the HITS Paging Office, located at the entrance of University Hospital South. This is the only location for in-person pager services.

For urgent IT issues, call our Service Desk at 734-936-8000. 

Urgent requests may include issues with MiChart or a clinical application impacting patient care, immediate classroom support, or other IT issues without a workaround that are impeding your work.
